I fear today is a sad day...
Rigglet is missing.
He was in his cage last night (I fed him fruit loops, a normal part of a bunny diet), but this evening when we got home from work, he was gone and Spooky was very aggitated. He had access to the yard from the house, but was very cautious about hawks and owls.
He is missing without a trace. I fear the worst, but hope for his safe return. It seems there is no joy without sadness. Things were going so well for the last while, I guess I was due. I just never wanted him to suffer. I figured he would die of old age in a couple more years. He was 6. Some rabbits live as long as 12, but 6-8 is the normal life span.
